Dr. Ethan Bregman is a clinical psychologist engaging in general psychotherapy, sport and performance psychology, and psychedelic preparation and integration.

General Psychotherapy: Dr. Bregman works with adults and adolescents in many areas of life’s challenges, utilizing strategies including but not limited to mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamically informed interventions, supportive and solution focused models. He works from a place of person-centered focus, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs. His therapy style is interactive and nonjudgmental, assisting individuals in recognizing patterns that impact and cause distress in daily life. He helps individuals discover solutions and coping styles within themselves to improve quality of life and self-understanding.

Sport and Performance Psychology: As a clinical sport psychologist, Dr. Bregman works with athletes of all competitive/participation levels. He employs techniques to address factors that impact athletic performance such as stress reduction, anxiety, injury recovery, and anger management, as well as interpersonal and adjustment issues. He recognizes the challenges that athletes encounter regardless of their age or level of participation. Through clinical expertise and athletic experience Dr. Bregman promotes overall wellbeing, balance, and enjoyment, not only in sports, but also in life.

Psychedelic Preparation and Integration: Dr. Bregman helps clients prepare mentally, emotionally, and practically for ketamine therapy and psychedelic journeys to assist in setting up a positive experience. Post journey he helps individuals to make sense of and integrate the experience into one’s daily life, making changes in lifestyle, habits and relationships based on insights gained.

Dr. Bregman is a lifelong competitive and recreational athlete participating in a wide variety of team and individual sports. He is the editor of the published book, Mixed Martial Arts Strikers Guide for Trainers and Fighters by Joseph Paulo Florez de la Guevara, 2010. Dr. Bregman has authored articles for Health and Fitness Magazine and has been interviewed by other news/media organizations. He has trained athletes and teaches boxing, kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He completed the year long OLTS (Outdoor Leadership Training Seminars) course based in Denver Colorado.

Dr. Bregman graduated from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He is a professional member of the American Psychological Association, Div. 47, and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
